Are you handy with a camera? Do people admire the pictures you take? You may be just who we’re looking for!
We need a new banner (top) photo for our website. The photo you see now was a quick snapshot taken by our webmaster. Think you can do better? So does our webmaster! At least, he hopes so 😉 Note that your photo will be cropped to 940 pixels wide × 200 pixels high.

We’ll review all the entries and depending on how many we receive, we’ll choose 3-5 of our favourite entries and post them on the website where an open public vote will determine the winner. The final photo chosen will be our new website banner.
The winner gets:
- Bragging rights
- A big THANK YOU from us
- A link to the their website or blog (if they have one)
- AND… an “official” school T-shirt
Contest Rules are pretty basic:
- As part of entering this contest, you agree that any photo you submit will become the property of the Davisville Jr PS / MTSD School Council.
- If we determine there has been “mischief” in the voting, we reserve the right to declare the winner, so please play fair.
Get busy! Contest closes Thursday, June 23rd at 6:00 PM and the voting will start shortly after.
We’ll close the voting Tuesday, June 28th at 6:00 PM and the winning photo will be posted in time for the last day of school (June 29).
(Update, June 23rd: The photo contest has been extended by at least a week!)
